Mission Statement

The mission of the Community Action Partnership of Rockland County, Inc. (CAPROC) is to remove obstacles and solve problems of low-income families and individuals to enable them to attain the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to become independent and self-sufficient. CAPROC will promote the development of a system of comprehensive services to assist families and individuals in becoming productive and functional member of society. Through maximum communication, coordination and collaboration of services, families and individual will be ensured the accessibility and continuity of service, in the most effective manner. CAPROC will use all available local, county, state, federal and private resources to inform, assist and train low-income families and individuals to enter the world of work and become responsible members of their community.

Using the Mission Statement, Goals, and Values as a guide, CAPROC will employ our collective, technical, economic and human resources to become first choice in community service for families throughout our service areas. Our focus will include the expansion and integration of appropriate services designed to meet the changing needs of our consumers. In addition, CAPROC will develop or collaborate in new and integrated services designed to meet the special needs of our service areas.
